What Is Coaching

Coaches are change experts who help leaders take responsibility for their lives and to act to maximize their own potential.

Coaching is practicing the discipline of believing in people in order to empower them to change.

Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximize their growth.

Coaching is about pushing you to discover a solution, not about giving you the answers.

Coaching is the art of and practice of guiding a person or group from where they are toward the greater competence and fulfillment that they desire.

What Does a Personal Coach Do?

The focus is on the client to target goals and objectives, develop and implement an action plan, and develop strategies for unstained behavioral changes.

My job is to use my coaching skills to help the client make changes and solve his own problems.

What Can You Expect From a Coach?

1. A coach in some respects becomes a person of accountability who will hold you responsible for your personal growth and learning.

2. My value to you is in helping you draw from your own knowledge, life experience, ideas and wisdom.

3. The coach's job is to listen, not to advise; to encourage, not to solve problems; to help the client visualize what is possible, not impossible.
